Enjoy “Father Christmas” by the Kinks
Since I’m Jewish, when I was a child, my parents told me Santa was fake. I went to school and told all the other kids he was fake too! Boy was I on the naughty list after that! I had to go to the principal’s office and he met with my parents. The principal told me that even if he wasn’t real, it’s not nice to tell the other kids. I cried and apologized, but now I can’t help telling the truth and these pictures of multiple Santas in an Ocean Beach bar prove it.
Last Night Hannukah Candles
They’re really quite colorful, even after they burn out.
Ocean Beach Pier at Sunset
Here’s an abstract view of the pier at sunset.
Here’s a few more picturesque photos of Ocean Beach:
Here’s the Ocean Beach tree with the pier sunset in the background: note the hippie peace symbol on the tree, characteristic of this independent retro small town.
Here’s an elf at Trader Joe’s unpacking cookies.
Happy Holidays to all!
We went to see the giant Hannukah menorah at a shopping center but couldn’t find it cause it moved to a new location.
When I got home, I was about to light the menorah that my Mom gave me, but my girlfriend moved it and I couldn’t find it. It had a lot of melted wax on it. So she thought it was a mess and I feared she might have thrown it out. When I asked her about it, she didn’t remember where she put it.
So we drove around trying to get a new one. Target ran out, and so did Ralph’s grocery store. This was already the 2nd day of Hannukah, so I really wanted one. We tried CVS and they didn’t have one either. As a last ditch effort, since we didn’t want to go to a far away synagogue on a weekday that was probably closed, we went to Party City and this is where we saw this cute finger puppet menorah. I snapped the picture of what she called a “baby toy” but I thought it was really cool.
Later when I came home, a Hanukkah miracle occurred! I found our menorah in a kitchen cupboard. Now if I can only find Hannukah candles!
Here’s one of the restaurants that bears my name that I don’t own. The other one’s in Pacific Beach on the ocean. This one is in Rancho San Diego.
Here’s a few more beautiful pictures near Jordan’s in the back of the mall.
There’s also a movie theater there. We went
to see “Horrible Bosses 2.”
Pencils are the latest high tech invention @ Carl’s jr.
A few choice photos from the children’s section of the Museum of the Living Artist. This kid in a cup is just too cute!
Here’s one of the cleaverest things made by kids I’ve ever seen: A hat with Legos on it. Wear it proudly!
Here’s an interesting mask one of the kids
made out of an egg carton.
This wasn’t at the museum but I still think it’s quite precious. It was a costume for a baby I saw at a Halloween shop.
I spotted these two near the Star of India in San Diego. What is Tinkerbell doing in the same place as Jack Sparrow? Whatever happened to Captain Hook? And where’s Peter Pan when you need her/him?
