As I understand it, the Mexican Day of the Dead, is a holiday that lets people visit with their deceased relatives and it has a sense of humor about it. People bring their dead relatives their favorite food & drink. They are depicted doing many fun things like enjoying music and weddings. Because of it’s proximity to Mexico, Old Town San Diego celebrates the Day of the Dead every year in many of its’ shops & public squares.

Happy Holidays to all!
We went to see the giant Hannukah menorah at a shopping center but couldn’t find it cause it moved to a new location.
When I got home, I was about to light the menorah that my Mom gave me, but my girlfriend moved it and I couldn’t find it. It had a lot of melted wax on it. So she thought it was a mess and I feared she might have thrown it out. When I asked her about it, she didn’t remember where she put it.
So we drove around trying to get a new one. Target ran out, and so did Ralph’s grocery store. This was already the 2nd day of Hannukah, so I really wanted one. We tried CVS and they didn’t have one either. As a last ditch effort, since we didn’t want to go to a far away synagogue on a weekday that was probably closed, we went to Party City and this is where we saw this cute finger puppet menorah. I snapped the picture of what she called a “baby toy” but I thought it was really cool.
Later when I came home, a Hanukkah miracle occurred! I found our menorah in a kitchen cupboard. Now if I can only find Hannukah candles!

Had another great dream of fame last night.
I was writing something for a small outfit like I am now for easterncountymagazine .org. In the dream,I was supposed to write a movie, kind of comedy, I wanted to be paid more, but the boss wanted me to have a meeting with my coworkers first. All the sudden, I had to go meet them and I was on talk shows at night, surprisingly, with Jerry Seinfield and Kramer. I felt so excited to be working with them and then the dream ended. So cool! I practice dream incubation every night and its helping me to reach my goals. You can do it too!
