As part of my promised lost cause to blog about my last vacation to Sedona, Arizona, and surrounding areas, our bus tour took us to Seligman, Arizona on Route 66. In front of this Harley Davidson store, I found Joe Clark, singing memorably about his hometown, along Interstate Route 66, where mannequins and womennequins lined the streets. He’s a great musician so that if you are on a break from work and need to relax, listen to him play.
Enjoy “Father Christmas” by the Kinks
Taking a walk around Ocean Beach, CA in San Diego, an area that harkens back to the hippy era, with all kinds of funky Mom and Pop stores, can be a lot of fun. People find a lot of creative ways to ask for money on the beach. This couple displaying their pet snakes is an example.
Sir Paul At Petco Park
Couldn’t face the outrageous ticket prices so I hung outside Petco Park with about a hundred people or so, listening to Sir Paul. It sounds just like the record turned up at full volume with a crowd! Outside the stadium, you can understand every word of his lyrics, not like a lot of groups today. I hope he donates some of the ticket revenues to worthy charities. That is his style after all! He may never give a concert here again in San Diego, so I just had to see, err I mean hear it!
