Found My Wallet And Faith In Humanity

I almost never lose important things. But I stopped at a supermarket that night and accidentally dropped my wallet out of my pocket while I was charging my electric car. I didn’t know where the wallet was so I drove back to the supermarket right away, just in case and prayed to God  that I would find it.  I looked for the wallet on the ground there and didn’t see it.

Then a voice said my name. A man that knew me from my karaoke singing 30 miles across town said he found it on the ground and gave it to me. Everything was in it just the way I left it, my driver’s license, vaccination card, even the cards and cash, which was only a few bucks, but still, it was a small miracle! My business card  was in it, and he said he tried to call me, but I recently changed my number, and he wouldn’t have been able to reach me. And my address was on it, but it didn’t have a gate code for where I live so he wouldn’t be able to find me and stop by. Besides mailing it to me,  the only way I would have been able to get my wallet back was in person that night!   I don’t have hardly any friends that I see in person since most of my friends live out of town and are virtual. I offered to give him a few bucks in the wallet for finding it but he refused. I also offered to buy him a beer since he works close by, he accepted and we exchanged numbers. This could be the start of a cool friendship! With wars and murders, sometimes people do awful things to each other. But whenever you lose your faith in humanity, think of stories like this! It was a minor miracle!
