On a lazy Saturday afternoon, I saw a bunch of these young guys hanging around the San Diego Marine Embarcadero Park near the Star of India, watching another guy jump his bicycle over an open gutter with a dead bird they said they put in it. It seemed like such a shame that these guys have nothing else to do except create what they joked about was “hepatitis water.” Not to mention how cruel it is for the poor dead bird and unsafe for the kids. Is this creativity or chaos? Shouldn’t the city do something?
I got up early New Years eve Morning to see the balloon parade. I’ve always wanted to see it so this year I didn’t miss it. It took me awhile but I finally found a place to park, in a tight spot, but unknowingly it became a fantastic view where the balloons all went to deflate!
Here’s my imaginary San Diego family.
Here’s a piggy.
Thought I was dreaming when I saw this T-Rex floating down the street.
This must have been that worm in my tequila.
San Diego Zoo Panda
I want to be the wizard of WordPress.
Is there a need to fear?
This was my favorite shot!
I thought the parade was over when this space shuttle balloon came by. This was the last float. Happy New Year!
As a former brand ambassador for a solar company, I was assigned to attend the Surf Dog Competition in Imperial Beach. I saw this incredible golden doodle dog there, surfing in the ocean.
Kentucky & His Dog, Derby
Weeks later, I saw the surf dog with his owner, named Kentucky parked at my condo. It turns out, after talking to Kentucky, that both Kentucky and Derby are my new neighbors here at my beach condo!
